Kick off the spring season with Tech Stack Brewing as we host our inaugural Spring Hackathon Challenge for the ATL tech community, HACKIO KART:

In this challenge teams compete in a high-energy coding hackathon, spiced up with a twist of strategic gameplay inspired by the classic SNES game. Each day, your team will receive a deck of 7 random power-up cards. Use these cards wisely to gain advantages or to playfully hinder your opponents, all while racing to complete your project!

Days, times & agenda

Saturday March 23rd, 2024

• 12pm: INTRO & KICKOFF
• 12:30pm - 4pm: Hackathoning Session 1 (use of items permitted)
• 4pm: Teams may stick around at the brewery or may work off-site, use of items are no longer permitted until the next day

Sunday March 24th, 2024

• 12pm - 3:30pm: Hackathoning Session 2 (use of items permitted)
• 3:30pm: Each team gets 5 minutes to present their projects
• 3:55pm: Judges deliberate
• 4:00pm: Winners are announced

Spectators

Audience members are welcome! Tables will be reserved for Teams, however, anyone that wishes to spectate is welcome to participate in the brewery as it will remain open to the public. We also plan to live stream the event throughout the weekend. Check back for more information!
